Silverton Street Market is held on the first Saturday of August each year, in the village of Silverton in mid-Devon, from 10am until the early evening. Along with a wide assortment of stalls lining the village’s narrow main street, there is entertainment and fun for all the family, ranging from bouncy castles and child-friendly activities on the Little Rec, to food stalls and pop-up bars for the adults! It has been called: “The best value day-out in Devon”.
Entrance is £2.50 per adult, 50p per child, with ample free parking provided by a local farmer in the village. Baby changing facilities and disabled parking are available at the Community Hall, just follow directions to the normal village car park (which is reserved only for the those with disabled badges on Street Market day).
The thousands of pounds raised is shared between various village organisations. Find out more about our beneficiaries.
