Fancy Dress Competition

Every year at the Street Market we encourage people to come dressed up in keeping with our theme, which this year in the “Wild South West”.  There is a competition for the best dressed adults, children and stall, and prizes to be won.

You should be able to spot the committee, as we’ll all be wearing cowboy hats, but we don’t want to be the only ones! Why not get your glad rags out too, and see if you can shine on the day. The raffle will be drawn around 3pm and then there will be the fancy dress judging. You can be anyone you like from the Wild West whether Native American like  Geronimo, an Apache leader , or Sitting Bull, a symbol of Native American resistance against U.S. government, or Crazy Horse, a handsome Sioux. Or come as Buffalo Bill, The Lone Ranger, Butch Cassidy, Calamity Jane, the list is endless.
